Visicons and SiteTech Global staff participating in the seminar were heard from experts of Global SBTech company who are also teachers of the Hanoi University of Transport such as: M. Vu Van Thanh, PhD. To Giang Lam together with Mr. Ong Wee Keong - Deputy General Director of Fyfe Asia Pte Ltd from Singapore presented the new technology being applied to enhance the structure for transport and civil works.
The technology introduced in the workshop is the composite material TYFO FRP, which is a laminated material with many outstanding properties such as: tensile strength is many times higher than steel, stainless and easy to install, Light weight due to its high strength / mass ratio, does not require complicated construction equipment, can be applied under water, etc.
This technology has been widely applied in the world in repair and reinforcement of construction works. However, in Vietnam, this technology has been popular recently and mainly for repair in the field of bridge and tunnel construction. Through the seminar, Visicons Company and SiteTech Global and realized a great potential in applying this technology in the civil construction market in Vietnam and will continue to research and deploy with SBTech, Fyfe Asia Pte Ltd. works in the coming time.
